Shapeless odds and ends which were scattered, valueless painting like them, and rhythmical music which is coming every 5 minutes in the exhibition. All of them seem not related to each other but they are the result which was drawn by consistent methodology, so they are based on my unconscious structure and reaction about object and image which were collected from every nook and corner in the city. In other words, the things I do are to walk around the city, to collect various objects, and sometimes to get an impression from something in the landscape of the city, so I make specific shapes by using these objects. Of course, the tourists don’t know how the landscape of the city looks like that I walked, and even I don’t know what I felt. But certain things are that I looked something, and object in the exhibition is the object which went through some kind of things. I tried myself with having my own rule to make and arrange the figures of the city, but it is very interesting that the result can’t clearly interpret. It is hard to figure out the dismantlement object as a consistent meaning. I would like to focus on “collection” and “restructure” at this point. In other words, why I had to collect landscapes and objects of the city and to restructure them? Also why the restructured works can’t be interpreted? The things that I would like to gain through the collection of materials for my work are that my perceptual and visual experiences disappeared. My experiences in the city have developed as the accumulation of the collection through sightseeing and consumption. As the city is the space of temptation were lots of different and attractive things, now I would like to suggest people should collect their own part which is extremely rich but can have scattered emotions. The reason why I was attracted by various views of the landscapes of the city and collect them is that I want to be the main which is following what the city has.
